First Annual Hog Wild 5K Brings Runners, Walkers, and Community Together in Hamburg, NY

What a day in Hamburg! This past weekend, we hosted our first annual Hog Wild 5K, and we could not have asked for a better turnout. Runners and walkers came together for a fun summer race through Hamburg, New York, finishing at West End Inn Tavern for a post-race celebration filled with a pig roast, live music, and plenty of community energy.

The Hog Wild 5K was a hot one, but that did not stop participants from showing up, moving together, and making the first year of this event such a success. From first-time 5K participants to seasoned local runners, it was great to see so many people come out to run, walk, cheer, and celebrate.

We also want to give a huge thank you to FeedMore WNY for helping us along the course and being part of this year’s event. Their support helped make race day run smoothly, and we were so grateful to have them involved.

The post-race party at West End Inn in Hamburg was the perfect way to wrap up the morning, with food, drinks, live music, and plenty of time for runners, walkers, friends, and families to celebrate together.

Thank you to everyone who registered, volunteered, cheered, sponsored, and helped make the first annual Hog Wild 5K such a memorable race. We are already excited for what is next.

Our next big race is the Quaker Dash 5K on July 24 at 6:30 PM in Orchard Park, NY. Registration is now live, and we would love to see you there for another fun summer 5K.
